Food Photography & Styling Workshop
Spend a day on set with myself and food photographer, Hein van Tonder of Heinstirred as we show you the basics of Food Photography and Food Styling in our very first food photography and styling workshop together with Nikon School South Africa!
You may be an amateur food photographer or a blogger wanting to up their game. Maybe you’re considering food styling or food photography as a career. Heck, maybe you just want to learn something new and spend the day around creative people playing with food! (Yup, I have a pretty cool job!)
Hein and I have worked together on some spectacular projects; my upcoming cookbook (more on that later!), national digital campaigns for a baking brand. We’re both also regular contributors for Food and Home Entertaining Magazine.
In this food photography workshop, we’ll be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a mouthwatering image. From preparing the food, the tips and tricks I use to make the dishes look perfect, to choosing props and styling the image. Hein will then take you through his process of photographing, editing and delivering the final shot to the client. You’ll also get a chance to shoot the food I create so don’t forget to bring your camera gear. And no, you don’t need to have a Nikon to join us. You don’t even need a fancy camera. You’ll be surprised at what you can shoot with very basic gear!
We hope you’ll join us on the 29 September 2018 at our food photography and styling workshop. Check out all the details and make a booking over on the Nikon School’s website HERE. See you there!
